The Bakery Bar, Restaurant with Accommodation is located in the centre of the picturesque village of Tatsfield, just outside the historic market town of Westerham, close to the Commuter Airport at Biggin Hill and within easy reach of many historical attractions such as Hever Castle, Squerries Court, Downe House to name a few. We are also only a short drive from the M25. The restaurant and bar were completely refurbished about 5 years ago in a modern rustic style which now offers a unique style all of its own. In 2012 we introduced 5 completely new en-suite bedrooms. Individually designed and furnished in a stylish modern way that feature plush Bath or Shower Rooms with under floor heating, Comfortable Beds with Egyptian Sheets, Flat Screen Televisions, Tea and Coffee Making Facilities, Free WIFI and which are completely sound proofed to ensure a quiet and peaceful stay. As well as the main restaurant, there is also a vibrant bar just downstairs which provides an extensive selection of brasserie style bar meals and snacks making it an ideal venue for a light lunch or dinner, or even for coffee or evening drinks and cocktails. Sunday lunch is a popular family affair with a more traditional menu and prices for children. We pride ourselves in offering very high standards of cuisine and service that is professional whilst informal and relaxed at the same time. We look forward to welcoming you !

Directions

From the M25Directions from M25 junction 5 Exit M25 at junction 5 (on to Sevenoaks and Hastings A21) .Almost immediately exit A21 following signs for A25 Westerham .Proceed along A25 for about 2 miles passing the villages of Sundridge, Brasted and into Westerham.Take the 2nd turning on the right in the town of Westerham which is the B2024 sign posted to Warlingham and Croydon (small Co-op shop on the corner)Follow this road again for about 2 miles up a hill, at the top of the hill is a right turn to Tatsfield Church. Don't take this turning, but the next on the right which is sign posted to Tatsfield village and The Old Ship Public House. Follow this road (Approach Road) into the village and The Bakery is opposite The Old Ship Public House in the centre of the village. Exit M25 at junction 6 .Follow signs to A25 Oxted and Westerham .Proceed along A25 for about 3 miles passing through one set of traffic lights.At the second set of traffic lights turn left, passing through Limpsfield Village Follow this road through the village and do not turn off, although you will pass a mini roundabout and a sharp bend to the right.Follow the road until you drive up a steep tree lined hill (Titsey Hill).At the top of the hill take the turning right (back on yourself) signed to Westerham and Tatsfield.Take the second turning on the left (Approach Road) to Tatsfield village.Follow this road into the village and The Bakery is opposite The Old Ship Public House in the centre of the village.From Biggin Hill (airport)Take Main Road south towards the Town Centre. At the first traffic lighted junction - turn right into Stock Hill, at the bottom turn left into Sunningvale Avenue. Follow the road round until you come to a small junction adjacent to Sunningvale Service Station, turn right and immediately left into Ricketts Hill Road . After about a mile you will notice a sign post right for Tatsfield Village (Ship Hill)This road will bring you into the village and we are directly opposite the Old Ship Pub.
